Leah Giarratano is a clinical psychologist and author who specialises in a number of areas including psychopathology and trauma counselling. She is an expert in psychological trauma and sex offences, treating both perpetrators and victims.〔(Author Profile Random House - Leah Giarratano - Author profile )〕 She has written a number of novels with themes which are related to her work experiences. She is also the host of "Beyond The Darklands" an Australian television series which examines the crimes and motives of serious offenders.
